Challenges of Meditation – Vipassana. Retreat with Ajahn Sundara[Online event]

This will be similar to retreats held at Sunyata except online.

It will feature an emphasis on tranquility meditation (samadhi), insight meditation (vipassana) and lovingkindness(metta) meditation.
Beginning on the Sunday morning and ending on the Sunday evening, we will take this opportunity to practice using the online platform Zoom.
Booking is required and a link to the zoom meeting will be sent to you closer to the time.
To participate it is necessary to attend the entire retreat.
Ajahn Sundara joined the monastic community at Chithurst Monastery in 1979 as one of the first female novices. She was ordained as a Siladhara (alms mendicant, 10 precept Nun) in 1983 with Ajahn Sumedho as Preceptor. After living in community for 15 years she then continued her practice in forest monasteries, mainly in Thailand, from 1995 to 1998. For the last 30 years she has taught and led many retreats. Presently she lives at Amaravati Buddhist Monastery.
