Day of Mindfulness with Metta (Irene Wulff) – Formerly Sister Metta [online]

August 21 @ 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

This day is for everyone who wants to deepen and revive mindfulness
practice, cultivate and strengthen it during a day of group practice online.
This includes stillness and slowing down. Practice in silence for a day and
perceive your inner experiences with more awareness, more space and
clarity.
The focus during the guided meditations is on the elements of classic
mindfulness practice (anapanasati).
Walking meditation is also recommended (and will be explained for those
new to the practice). If possible for you, do this outside or in the garden.
We’ll spend the day in silence and end with a joint exchange of our
experiences.
Basic knowledge of meditation practice would be helpful but is not
essential.

Booking (by filling out the booking form) is required and a link to the zoom meeting will be sent to the participants closer to the time.

This course is offered on a Dana (donation) basis only.

Facilitated by Metta Irene Wulff.

Metta Irene Wulff was born in 1953 in Germany. In 1993 she joined the monastic Sangha in Amaravati (England). As Siladhara she was ordained from 1996 to 2017 (Ajahn Metta) in the Thai Forest Monastery tradition (Ajahn Chah). She lived and practiced mainly in England in the monasteries of Amaravati and Cittaviveka. During this time, Ajahn Sumedho and Ajahn Sucitto were her spiritual teachers and mentors. As a nun, she spent time in India, Sri Lanka, Thailand and the USA. For more than 10 years she has worked as a Dharma teacher in different countries (England, Europe and the USA). In June 2017 she left the robe and lives in Berlin today.
