Dhamma from Ajahn Sucitto at Kilcuan, Clarinbridge[online and in person]

December 4, 2021 @ 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Ajahn Sucitto is a Theravada Buddhist monk. He entered monastic life in 1975 in Thailand, but since 1978 has been based in Britain. He spent fourteen years training under Ajahn Sumedho, the senior Western disciple of Ajahn Chah, and so is part of the Thai Forest lineage of direct practice. His ability with language and metaphor are a delight to the listener.

There is no need to book.

This event is being organised by Teach na Tuisceana. Click HERE for more details or email [email protected] with any inquiries.

We intend this event to be as COVID safe as possible. The chapel at Kilcuan is spacious and will be well ventilated. Masks will be worn and if there are too many people on the day, latecomers will view the talk by video link from the adjacent large main area of the building. We will be following government restrictions and only allowing entry to those who are fully vaccinated or have recovered from COVID. Please arrive early.

Kilcuan Retreat Centre is within the Kilcornan Estate owned by the Brothers of Charity. The entrance is on the left, amidst woodland, half way along the entrance drive. Bus 51, Galway to Limerick and Cork, stops in the village once an hour.
